New York State confirms more cases of measles

There are more cases of the measles confirmed in New York State.    

This time - in a Mennonite community in Western New York.

Health officials have confirmed five new cases of the highly contagious disease in the Wyoming County community.     

An advisory has been issued to notify regional health care providers of the potential for exposure.    

The CDC has counted nearly 1,200 cases of measles in 30 states so far this year.    

About three-quarters of the cases are linked to outbreaks in New York.
