State police are teaming up with local police departments to crack down on impaired and reckless driving this holiday weekend.

The Thanksgiving initiative runs through Sunday.

You'll notice more troopers on the highways. They'll be looking for speeders, people who drink and drive and people on cell phones.

Last year, state police handed out nearly 14,000 tickets over Thanksgiving holiday.
