New York State begins search for holiday trees

September 10, 2019 08:04 AM

It’s only September, but New York State is already looking ahead to Christmas.

The New York State Office of General Services is looking for two spruce trees to display outside the State Capitol in Albany.

The trees should be between 35 and 55 feet tall and easily accessible.

They will be removed at no cost to the property owner.

If you have a tree you want to donate, contact the New York State Office of General Services.
