Police: Woman led cops on chase with 9-year-old child in tow

Police say a 9-year-old child was riding in a car they were chasing on Sunday.

They stopped 29-year-old Nicole Kelly of Gloversville on State Route 5 in Mohawk for allegedly speeding.

However, they say Kelly drove off as the cop approached. A chase followed but was called off.

Kelly was finally arrested in Johnstown.

She faces several charges including child endangerment, reckless driving and aggravated unlicensed operation.
