Trial in secretive NXIVM organization investigation delayed until April

There has been a delay in the NXIVM trial. Opening statements are now set for April 29. The trial was scheduled to begin in mid-March.

NXIVM leader Keith Raniere and five other people connected to the secretive organization based in the Capital Region are charged.

Raniere and Actress Allison Mack are accused of coercing women into joining a secret society and turning the women into Raniere's sex slaves.
