Oakwood Avenue in Troy reopens

June 14, 2019 06:47 AM

TROY- Oakwood Avenue in the city of Troy is back open Friday morning.

It had been closed for repairs to a broken water line. It was completed Thursday. The city says it hopes full water pressure is back sometime this morning. A boil water order remains in effect for eastern portions of Troy, and all of Brunswick, North Greenbush and Poestenkill.

All residents should boil their water before using it for drinking or cooking.

When the order is lifted, we will let you know.
