SCHENECTADY - An officer-involved shooting is under investigation in Schenectady.

It happened in the area of Albany and Hulett streets around 4 p.m. Friday.

Police say it started when an officer saw a stolen vehicle. They say the car then turned around, driving toward the officer.

The officer fired his gun and hit the vehicle. It then turned northbound on Hulett Street and two people got out.

After a brief foot chase a 15-year-old boy was detained. He's now being treated at the hospital for cuts.

Police searched for the second person in the car, but were not able to find them.
