Heroic Gloversville cops honored for bravery

GLOVERSVILLE - Four Gloversville police officers were honored at Gloversville City Hall for their bravery at a house fire.

Two of the officers rushed into a burning home on October 20 to rescue people inside.

The shooting flames and intense smoke at 25 Grand Street were captured on police body cameras.

Four residents were inside the home at the time. All four were able to get out alive.

The fire chief says an overloaded power strip sparked that fire.
