After three days, a jury was finally seated in the trial of Daniel Nellis. He's accused of killing 21-year-old Michaela MacVilla last fall.

She was last seen September 25, leaving the Stewart's Shop in St. Johnsville where she worked. Her body was found a week later with a bullet wound to her head.

After the 12 jurors were seated on Wednesday afternoon, opening arguments began.

Nellis was originally arrested on weapons and marijuana charges. After voluntarily submitting a DNA sample to investigators, he was indicted on murder charges more than a month after her death.
