Drunk man in Warren County accused of spitting at trooper who gave him ride home

LAKE GEORGE - A drunk man in Lake George is accused of spitting at a trooper who gave him a ride home.

Paul Rushia, 35, was picked up by police on Birch Road Wednesday evening. Officers said it looked like he was having trouble finding his way.

Once home, police say Rushia became combative, hit and spat at the trooper.

Rushia is facing several charges – including harassment and disorderly conduct. He's also charged with illegally possessing marijuana.
