Pedestrians hit by SUV in Troy

TROY - Two people were hit by an SUV late Thursday while crossing 8th Street in Troy.

This happened right in front of EMPAC, the performing arts center at RPI.

The two pedestrians were taken to Albany Medical Center. The extent of their injuries is not clear.

Witnesses say they were in the crosswalk.

Troy police issued a ticket to the driver of the Ford Escape.
