August 24, 2018 07:07 PM

NISKAYUNA - Plans for a Holocaust memorial in Niskayuna have been put on hold again.

The town board agreed to postpone its vote on a special use permit until December 18. That will give a special committee of architects and educators more time to build consensus on a suitable design.

Dr. Michael Lozman wants to build the memorial on a two-acre site along Troy-Schenectady Road. He asked for the delay to allow further discussion with members of the community.
