Parents hope the new playground will encourage children who have nowhere to play, to get out more and exercise

In July, kids from the surrounding community came together to draw their dream playground. The playground is based off their drawings and will provide more than 1,200 kids in Schenectady a place to socialize and play.

The project began at 8:30 this morning and will be complete at approximately  3:00 pm tonight.
