Police make arrest in Troy stabbing

TROY- Police in Troy say they've made an arrest after a stabbing on Thursday night.

52-year-old Robert Washington is now facing charges including assault and criminal possession of a weapon.


Police responded to the stabbing outside of Kennedy Daily Grocery Store on Jacob Street shortly after 7 p.m. They say a man was stabbed in the leg after a disturbance outside of the store.     

The man was taken to Albany Med and is expected to survive.
