Police identify possible car in near-collision with student getting off bus

State police think they know the type of car that nearly hit a little girl getting off the bus in Pittstown on Tuesday. They say it may be a 2007 Jeep Commander with Connecticut license plates.

The little girl had just come down the bus steps and was running to her father when the car whipped by and almost hit her.

The driver is believed to be a white male 40 to 50 years old.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Inv. Judge at (518) 279-4427.
