Police say a patrol officer in Troy tried to pull over a car they were in. The police chase went from the Hoosick Street area of Troy to the apartment complex. Police say one of the suspects has family there and both ran into an apartment at Building 6. No one else was in the apartment.

Many different police agencies, a SWAT team and drones were all called in.

The two suspects came out peacefully. No one was hurt.

Police had said the pair had violent criminal histories. They were also worried they might have a gun.

Watervliet City Schools were in lockout for a time as a precaution. That was later lifted.
