Schenectady police investigating shooting

SCHENECTADY - Schenectady police are investigating a shooting. Police say it happened in the area of State and Hulett streets around noon on Saturday.

Police say when they arrived on the scene they found a 33-year-old man on the property of Mohawk Ambulance. They say he was suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

He was transported to Ellis Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
