Police searching for driver after pedestrian hit-and-run in Saratoga Springs

SARATOGA SPRINGS - Police are searching for a driver who hit and injured two people on Broadway in Saratoga Springs.

Police say the hit-and-run happened around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, at the intersection of Broadway and West Fenlon Street.

They say a 37-year-old male and a 31-year-old female were trying to cross the road when a Southbound driver hit them and took off.

Police believe the car has damage to its front lights, but they do not know any description of the vehicle. 

The male victim was taken to Saratoga Hospital and is expected to survive. The female victim was taken to Albany Medical Center with more serious injuries to her head and upper body.
