Police: Sleeping driver crashes which caused fatal second crash

The identity of the driver killed in Wednesday's crash on the Northway still hasn't been released, but State Police are revealing more about just what happened.

They say just before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, the driver of a Hannaford tractor-trailer fell asleep while driving by Exit 18.

The truck drifted off the shoulder, hitting a guardrail - and rolled on to its side.

A second driver hit the first truck and was killed. The first driver was out of the truck and unhurt.
