Gloversville police investigate possible attempted abduction

GLOVERSVILLE - Police in Gloversville are investigating a possible attempted abduction.

They say it happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of North Clark Drive and Summer Street.

Authorities tell NewsChannel 13 three kids reported the driver of a black minivan or SUV approached them, asking for directions to Gloversville High School.

After they gave him the directions, they say the man asked them to get in the vehicle and show him the way. They refused and say the man threatened them, so they ran off.

Anyone with information should call Gloversville Police.
