Delay for trial of NXIVM leader approved

April 11, 2019 06:28 PM

A judge has agreed to push back the trial of NXIVM leader Keith Raniere to May 7. Opening statements were scheduled for April 29.

Prosecutors were asking the court to push back the opening statements until May 13. They say several pre-trial issues need to be addressed following guilty pleas from three other defendants.
