High winds topple tree onto wires in Bethlehem

May 10, 2019 12:44 PM

BETHLEHEM - Power has been restored to most of the nearly 200 customers who lost it in Bethlehem early Friday morning.

National Grid said a handful of remaining residents would have power restored later in the afternoon.

Wind brought down a large tree and power lines.

State Route 144 was shut down as crews worked to clear the tree off the road.

The tree took down the power lines and the utility poles appear to have been damaged as well.

All lanes are now open for traffic.
