Troy voters approve $56 million project to modernize schools

TROY - A $56 million to modernize the Troy School District has been approved.

Eighteen heating and ventilation systems will be replaced.


The high school technology wing will be renovated to allow for expanded STEM programs.

The project won't affect the current tax levy. Most of it will be paid for with aid through the state Education Department.

Contractor bidding will start next year and renovations will begin in the summer of 2021.
