Proposal made to waive all fees for South Troy Pool and Boys and Girls Club

July 07, 2019 03:09 PM

Troy's City Council President is proposing all fees for the South Troy Pool and the Troy Boys and Girls Club be waived for city residents.

Carmella Mantello says doing so for all city residents for 2019 is only right, knowing it's been three years since city pools have opened for children and families.

The current proposal for the upcoming council meeting on Thursday is $2 admission for city residents 13 and older. Non residents is $5 daily.

Mantello says she'll propose to amend the ordinance. Just this week NewsChannel 13 learned the city is working to get the South Troy Pool open sooner than later.
