Protesters in Glens Falls expected to have unloaded guns

GLENS FALLS - The city of Glens Falls is putting out a warning that people taking part in a protest on Saturday will likely be carrying unloaded guns.

Groups who are rallying Saturday in support of President Trump and the Second Amendment have let the city know of their plans to carry firearms in Centennial Circle.

The 4 p.m. protest follows a gun show at the Cool Insuring Arena, and will end at 7 p.m.

People heading to the arena for a hockey game will notice the protesters carrying guns, but police say they'll be monitoring the rally very carefully to make sure it remains peaceful.
