Protesters demand an end to monetary bail

ALBANY - Protestors will be outside the Albany County Judicial Center on Lodge Street Tuesday evening to demand an end to monetary bail. 

The protest is being put on by Free New York.

Tuesday is known as Juneteenth, a day recognizing the abolition of slavery.

The group's organizers say the fight for freedom continues with the practice of bail, as people are held in jail before their day in court.
