“I have never in my life seen such horrific thing,” Snyder said.

She and her husband were driving home on Cliff Street, after dinner Wednesday night when something caught her eye on the second floor of this building.

”All of a sudden I saw this dog flying, someone threw him. I saw her throw him out the second-story window,” Snyder said.

She says she screamed to her husband to stop their car, she ran out into traffic and rushed to pick up the 7-month-old bleeding pup, named Wrinkles.

“She started to come towards me and I said back, you're going to jail,” Snyder said.

According to Snyder, 28 year old Joanne Hoose told her the dog fell out of the window.

"And I said oh no, but I said it in some nastyer words, the dog didn't fall out the window you threw this dog out the window,” Snyder said.

Hoose was arrested by Canajoharie Police and charged with a Class E Felony, in violation of “Buster’s Law.”

Wrinkles has a broken femur, paw and 5 other broken bones and will require surgery, Friday.

“I’ve just never experienced anything like that, that someone could be that cruel to an animal. So I’m thinking if somebody can be that bad to an animal what else could those people do,” Snyder said.

The Montgomery County SPCA is taking donations to help with Wrinkles' recovery. You can help by clicking, here.
