Queensbury man arrested for alleged sexual contact with a child

A Queensbury man is under arrest on Monday after state police say he had sexual contact with a child under the age of 11.    

49-year-old Michael Elmore faces charges of first degree sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.    


Police say he knew the child.    

The arrest was the result of a joint investigation between New York State Police and the Warren County Child Protective Services.
