Bennington residents have donated up to $1,000 as a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for vandalism and racist graffiti in the town.

The first incident happened last week when police say someone broke a window at the Oldcastle Theatre in Bennington and spray-painted the phrase "White Power" nearby.

Police say the same phrase was discovered on a recreation center Monday and it was found painted on a fence near a motel Tuesday.
