ALBANY - The city of Albany is getting colorful to recognize "Pride Month" this June.
A rainbow-colored crosswalk was unveiled Thursday morning.
It's located downtown on Central Avenue – and connected to the top gay bars in the city - Waterworks Pub on one side and ROCKS on the other side.
Equinox and Girls, Inc. are also in that area.
Those who helped make it a reality say it will stay maintained.
Hear about the work it took to get the crosswalk by watching the video of John Craig's story.
