$1,500 reward now offered for info on abandoned Troy dog

A $1,500 reward is now offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction, after a poor dog was found abandoned in Troy.

As NewsChannel 13 has been reporting, the malnourished dog was found Monday overnight in the area of the Frear Park basketball courts. He had no microchip or ID.

The reward money includes $1,000 from the New York State Humane Association and $500 from Responsible Animal Care USA.

The dog is being nursed back to health at a vet’s office. His prognosis is good.
