A Saratoga County man is charged in connection with the death of his mother.

Richard Carr is charged with manslaughter and endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person.

The 28-year-old man was supposed to be caring for his mother, Muriel Carr, but instead allegedly neglected her, which led to her death January 28, 2019.

Investigators arrested Carr in South Carolina and brought him back here.

He was arraigned Wednesday on a sealed indictment and sent to the Saratoga County Jail for lack of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
