The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man killed Sunday in a head-on crash in Kingsbury. They say it was 23-year-old Jacobi Mathews of Buffalo.

The crash happened on State Route 4 in the area of Waite Road. Police say the vehicles collided in the northbound lane. Mathews was going southbound.

The two people inside the car on the northbound lane were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The preliminary investigation shows weather and icy road conditions were a factor.
