Albany man convicted three times for stealing from local churches

An Albany man has now been convicted three times for stealing from local churches.

Robert Hoag pleaded guilty this week to criminal possession of stolen property, He faces one and a half to three years in state prison.

Back in February, NewsChannel 13 showed you surveillance video of Hoag inside the Victory Church in Colonie. The church reported that $1,600 was taken from the office.

When Colonie police questioned Hoag the next day, he was carrying most of the stolen money in a church envelope.
