A Rensselaer County man's guns have been removed under New York's new "Red Flag Law."

Robert King was arrested last week, after police say he fired a gun without a permit, hitting a home.

During the arrest, police say King threatened to harm himself or others.

Troopers filed for an "extreme risk" protection order, because they were concerned about public safety.

Now, a judge has ruled the guns King lawfully owns will be removed.
