The 25th installment of an annual tradition kicked off in Queensbury Thursday.

200 golfers teed off at Hiland Country Club to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House.

It's called the Reardon Cup, in honor of restaurant owner and organizer Renee Reardon.

Reardon says she was moved by what the house does for families, and has helped raise $1.2 million dollars for it.

This year's event was dedicated to Mike LaRoche.

He played in all 24 tournaments before he passed away suddenly last year.

Organizers even unveiled a statue to honor him.
