College of Saint Rose receives grant to combat domestic violence

The College of Saint Rose in Albany will get $300,000 from the federal government to help reduce domestic violence.

Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand announced the grant. They say the money will be used to reduce sexual assaults, dating violence, and stalking on campus.

Saint Rose will work with Equinox and the Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center to help accomplish those goals.
