A Saratoga County family is mourning their daughter. Abigail Jenks, 20, was a soldier killed in a training accident at Fort Bragg.
Jenks was a 2018 graduate of Saratoga Springs High School.
Her family is now making arrangements to have her body brought back to the Capital Region.
Jenks' younger brother who is also in the service arrived at Albany International Airport Tuesday afternoon to be with his family during this difficult time. NewsChannel 13 was invited to be there.

The family still very much in shock after receiving this devastating news.
Jenks was with the 319th Airborne Field Artillery.
Officials with the Army say Jenks was doing what is called a static-line jump from a Blackhawk helicopter when something went wrong.
Jenks had been a paratrooper at Fort Bragg since June 2019.
Abigail's mom, Mary, says Jenks enlisted in October 2018 just a few months after graduating from high school.
Some of her awards and decorations earned over the last two and a half years include the Army Achievement Medal, The Good Conduct Medal, The Army Service Ribbon and the Army Parachutist Badge.
