Saratoga home destroyed by fire

SARATOGA – A Saturday morning fire destroyed a home in Saratoga.

Fire crews say the fire broke out just before 11 a.m. on Mabb Road. They say there were no hydrants in the area so they had to set up tankers.

It took about a half-hour to knock it down with icy conditions making matters more difficult. They say the homeowner was home at the time but was able to get out safely.
