SARATOGA SPRINGS -- The Waldorf School kicked off the new school year with coronavirus in mind.

They've gone all outdoors, and socially distanced and hope to stay that way through Thanksgiving.

"It's going great. I mean, It's definitely a challenge. We definitely have to think outside the box," said Sophie Ward, a teacher at the Waldorf School.

Classes are complete with camping chair-style seating, outdoor school room covers, tree stump tables and makeshift hand sanitizing stations.

There's also elaborate artwork and lesson plans laid out on outdoor chalkboards.
