Schalmont girl earns silver medal in World Tap Dance Championships

Olivia Roglieri in bringing home a silver medal in the World Tap Dance Championships - happening this week in Germany.

She took fourth with her solo routine - just missing the bronze medal. However, in her trio event - she and her two teammates took second place and got themselves a silver medal.


You'll remember she had won a competition last year in Albany - and the video was posted online.

Team USA coaches saw it and invited her to be part of the team.

Her mom, Carrie, says Olivia nailed her solo routine Tuesday - and advanced to the finals. She was also competing in three team dance events.
