Schenectady County man faces new charge in connection with shooting spree

A Schenectady County man accused in a shooting spree over the summer is now facing additional charges.

Dushawn Howard was already facing three counts of attempted murder, after allegedly shooting a 16-year-old girl, a 7-year-old boy and an adult woman in Schenectady in July.

According to an indictment in the case, Howard faces a new charge of attempted murder.

The indictment alleges Howard also tried to kill a 1-year-old baby, but did not say how.

The baby was not injured in the attack.
