A Schenectady County man will spend 75 years to life in prison.

Dushawn Howard is heading to prison for attempting to kill his ex-girlfriend and her two children.

Howard was convicted back in April. He shot Aishah Goodwin last October on Union Street, along with her 7 and 16-year-old children.

Prosecutors alleged Howard also tried to shoot the couple's infant son, but the gun jammed. The jury acquitted him on that count.
