SCHENECTADY - A Schenectady neighborhood wants to improve quality of life by cracking down on littering.

It's part of a Thriving Neighborhood Challenge project.

The Goose Hill Neighborhood Association collected ideas from residents about how to make their community stronger, healthier and safer.

Fifty trash cans adorned with artwork from kids were unveiled on Thursday morning.
