SCHENECTADY - For a third year, Rev. Bob Longobucco is holding a 24 hour marathon confession session.

The pastor of the Roman Catholic St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish in Schenectady began Friday morning at 9 a.m. and will continue recognizing the sacrament of reconciliation until mass Saturday at 9 a.m.

Traditionally, Catholics enter a booth called a confessional where they can't be seen by the Priest because of a screen separating them.

Rev. Longobucco, however, welcomes parishioners face to face and says there's quite a bit of laughter in the session, too. As of Friday evening, Rev. Longobucco had already met with 38 people.
