Schenectady police continue shooting investigation

Schenectady police continue to investigate a shooting over the weekend. They say a woman was shot near South Brandywine and Duane avenues shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday.

The victim went to the nearby Tropics Restaurant & Bar for help. Police say the owner called 911 and the woman was rushed to Albany Medical Center.

Police confirm the shooting did not happen in the restaurant or on its property.
