A large rally was underway in Schenectady calling for an end to racism and oppression.

The group Occupy Schenectady says it has 13 demands that address changes in policing policy in court procedure. Some of those demands include prosecution of all law-enforcement and corrections officers who violate civil rights of all people of color. That includes killing, beating, false arrest, and harassment.

Some other demands include mandatory anti-racism training for law-enforcement and corrections officers.

NewsChannel 13 spoke Monday afternoon with one of the organizers with the community group All of Us. She says despite the fact that city leaders have had this list of demands for some time, virtually no action has been taken.

Hear some of her frustrations by watching the video of Emily Burkhard's story.
