Schenectady to host vigil after mass shootings

People will be coming together in Schenectady for a prayer vigil on Friday - after multiple recent deadly mass shootings.    

The prayer vigil and remembrance starts at 5 p.m. on the steps of Schenectady City Hall.    


Prayer will be offered for the victims, their families and the communities affected by the recently deadly gun violence in Dayton, Ohio, El Paso, Texas, and Gilroy, California.    

22 people were killed in El Paso, 9 were killed in Dayton, and 3 were killed in Gilroy.
