SCHODACK - A public hearing was held in Schodack on Monday for people to share their opinions on a potential hazardous waste truck facility moving into town.
As NewsChannel 13 reported last week, Goulet Trucking hauls waste, sewage treatment, sludge and asbestos and they want to build on the corner of Route 9 and Lape Road.
Residents say no one told them about these plans - which include a wash bay right on top of an aquifer at the corner of Route 9 and Lape Road.
Goulet Trucking already hauls hazardous waste in 17 states, including New York and Canada.
