Demonstration teaches East Greenbush teens importance of wearing seatbelt

EAST GREENBUSH - High school students learned the importance of wearing seatbelts on Wednesday.

Students at Columbia High School in East Greenbush took a ride in the "Seatbelt Convincer" on Wednesday morning.

The demonstration run by state police simulates a low-impact collision, giving passengers the chance to experience the actual force generated in a 10-mile per hour collision.
